After a few emails they said they would send me a replacement chat cable, when it landed it was wrong.
I contacted Astro support and asked they sent me the same cable as why should I pay for a premium headset and still have to buy parts to make it work how it should. In the meantime I tried a 2.5mm x 3.5mm jack to jack from turtle beach to check if it was the chat cable connector and it was, the headset worked as it should. Still the same issue, no one in game could hear a word I was saying in chat. I did what they asked anyway after many different test, resets, pairing and running batteries down, they sent me a new cable.
